Their was a compatibility problem with nVidia and the default 4K stacks in the 2.6 kernel (default for FC2).
However the latest nVidia driver does support 4k stacks.
Just don't start the rivabf module and you'll be fine.
Is there a way to install nvidia drivers version 4496? These new drivers don't work fine for me, but those old did. What should I do to be able to install my good old drivers?
You don't have to use the 8k stacks kernel.
(It can give you a performance loss for server stuff)
Just use one of these drivers: http://www.nvidia.com/object/linux.html
Ps: I don't really like them.
They will have to open their sources to create good drivers.
