Did you just want to try its look&feel (UI/UX), or did you want to test its compatibility with your video/wifi/etc hardware?
For the former (but not the latter, since 'virtual' devices), pre-installed!!!
osboxes.org/fedora gives you F26 as a .vdi, which you can run on your existing Mint/Linux,
IMHO, basically as easily as clicking down a free 'app' to play with, on a smartphone/tablet.
