Lightbulb Fedora Shell Commands

Hi im new to linux and im starting to use the Fedora Core 3
basicaly i just need some usefull shell commands and would like anyone who reads this to enter some shell cammands for me to play with any info you can give me will be appreciated

man -k <subject of interest>
cd <path>
vi <filename>

no offence, dont take me the wrong way, but that seems really lazy! there are tons of resources for linux on the web, a starting point is this forum, you can try and
