Dear All,
I have recently installed Fedora 6 zod on my computer (an Athlon 64x2 5200+, on a K-9N SLI Platinum motherboard with 2 Gb of DDR2, Nvidia 7950x2 graphics and two SATA HDs. I've never actually managed to run it so far.
The problem is that when Fedora starts, it gives me an error (PCI : BIOS bug, MCF memory e0000000 not E820-reserved / MMCONFIG not used).
It mounts the disks and starts udev without problems. It just then switches to graphical mode (I guess), and that was all she wrote... The HD LED continues to blink for 30-40 seconds, but the screen remains blank.
What can I do/check (please take into account that I'm a Linux

)?
Thanks a lot!
Gonzalo
---PS : I've just remembered that Ctrl+F1 is used to jump to text mode, so I see that linux boots up to the point where it mounts the swaps, and stays there!
