Fedora live usb stick locking up
 

I downloaded Fedora 25 live and wrote it to a usb stick. I can get it to boot and work a few minutes but it locks up. I did some research and found adding "nomodest" to the grub.cfg file it would stop locking up. I checked the grub file and the line was already in. Any other ideas?

Fedora 26, or even a Rawhide daily.

I'm not trying to be funny/scarcastic/snarky. A different kernel may do the trick.

It looks like Fedora is S L O W. I installed to the hard drive and am working now.
