Fedora lags, CPU 8- - 90% almost all the time...

When i do browsing with firefox it's a real nightmare to scroll through the page as it moves super slow. I checked cpu usage and it's 80 - 90% all the time.. Is this a common problem or there's really something that slows down my computer?

I remember Ubuntu worked just fine..
I have Toshiba Satellite A110
CPU 1.4Ghz 2GB RAM

Weird.. what could be wrong?
