Fedora Equivalents of Mandriva Packages
I have been a faithful user of Mandriva for a long time, and a good friend suggested I try Fedora Core 4 to see how I like it. Just for the record, I'm keeping it, it is a "lot" less of a drain on my system than Mandriva. I have a question though. In Mandriva I could just go to easyurpmi.zarb.org and run that, then just type "urpmi packagename" and get anything I needed quickly and easily. I have figured out how to use yum, and have uninstalled up2date and installed the yum graphical frontend, but I can't seem to find anything close to these Mandriva packages that I used:
win32-codecs (codecs to play back .wmv, .avi and other windows media)
libdvdcss (dvd playback package)
I have installed Real Player 10, and while the Windows version is much nicer and handier, I like it. The plugin for Mozilla Firefox went in nicely and I can watch embedded Real Media, but that's it. I need codecs so I can watch everything else and cannot for the life of me find those packages or anything close to them in yum. Could somebody help me find the Fedora equivalents of these Mandriva packages? If possible I want the codecs to work with Real Player so I don't have to keep track of which media player can play which files.
