(forget about vdr-xine though, not required). Install all these using 'yum install *name*'. Also install 'libdvdcss2' doing the same.

Additionally you may want to get mplayer too.
#yum install mplayer mplayer-gui mplayerplug-in.

And please use the search function once in a while, most of such issues are already answered.

Dude,
I tried the same but it is not showing the secondary SATA drive in the boot partition menu

It is showing that IDE 2 is detected while loading drivers but not in the menu

One difference i have seen is tat my primary hdd partitions are shown as hdf's instead of hda's

I'm bcoming frustoo of this
