Can anyone help me out to figure out what exactly is the problem with my FC4 installation.
I was woking on FC1 previously on Intel Pentium 3 PC.
I then shifted to FC4 which came along with the book on FC4 (two CDs).
Initially everything went on right.
But after configuring network for internet usage(accessing internet on this PC at home thru cable internet) and using internet the PC became very slow(it takes lots of time to start any program. While in the process of loading any program, the hard disk seems to be accessing some thing (led light of hard disk flashes).

Can any one guide me how to go about solving the problem ( without reinstallation).
Is my PC hit with virus or spyware ? Help needed .

FC4 consists of 4 CDs, what kind of FC4 did you install?

FC4 can be installed with 2 cds without issues and extra package options. You might want to burn the 4 cds off the net and reinstall. Sometimes the install process can result in errors causing problems. I installed FC4 a couple of months ago and it ran like a dog. Plus, there were all sorts of problems popping up. After the reinstall everything runs fine.

Its right there problems while installing.
I think I should reinstall FC4.
Since there are lots of new things lined up in FC4 rather then FC1 which I was using previously.
