Um...

1.) This post was about upgrading fedora core 2, to fedora core 3
2.) Windows Update = Yum/Apt-Get (does it all on its own... check it out one day... its nice..... better than RHN up2date
3.) Virus Scanners and plenty of software and firewalls can be downloaded/installed to increase stability and security of windows (usualy not norton or mcafee... gotta know the grounds)
4.) If you know what the F*** your doing on windows you wont have to many problems at all

I'm not a big Microsoft fan but I'm defending what I know to be true.

For those of us clueless newbies, How is that done?

How do you specifically use yum to update to core 3?

To the rantings of pro/anti microsoft-Every OS has it's place, can't we all just get along?

Talking

I guess Microsoft Games are also now easily working under linux....

The new CEDEGA is cool... and I play Condition Zero, Counter Strike, Age of Empires and Quake III on Linux...

I think thats why now there is no need for microsoft....

anyway, i feel that the Microsoft Visual Studio is also better than most development tools in linux....

Lets hope QT or something else improves itself to become more competetive...

regards
unpredictable
