I have to add my name to the "having a great time with FC2" list. I've not had any real issues with FC2 at all. I did not experience the dual-boot issue. I upgraded from FC1 to FC2 on a hard disk with XP installed on a separate partition.

As to the dual boot problem...I understood that it is a problem with the 2.6 kernel and not specifically FC2. Is this not the case? I think it's unfair to rush to blame all the wonderful people who worked on FC2 when the issue is not by any means specific to FC2.

Works great for me... loads better than FC1. I had to ditch the FC2 kernel for a vanilla 2.6.6 to get nvidia 3d working and change the order that pcmcia loaded at boot to get my wireless card detected but it is a solid performer in my opinion. This is what running linux should be like in my book...

Ditto for me. Did a clean install on my Dell GX150 w/no problems. Call me crazy but I really like the changes in Gnome 2.6. The performance increase is quite noticeable over FC1. I was a little miffed at having to disable pre-linking to get CrossOver Office to work but, I guess they'll have that fixed shortly.
