Fedora and PhP
Heya guys, around a year ago was the last time I used Fedora. I really liked the distro aside from 1 problem that was a deal breaker for me then. one of the prime usses I had for the system was as a PhP server for this small PhP custom app I had.
And it just couldn't work on Fedora, even when I installed older versions of phP from their site and compiled them. Every time i asked around I was told that something about Fedora at that time handled phP slightly different then other distros (other distros like Debian/sarge/sid and Gentoo worked fine with it afterwards) Im really sorry I cant be more specific, as im truly not sure what was the Exact issue beyond that. Does anyone know what I am talking about, and if so, would this still be an issue? Thank you! |
I use FC5 for my own http server with the mod-php, everything works perfectly.

Yea i assumed even then it worked fine for the normal Web stuff, but this program wasnt working right, and supposedly FC atleast then handled PhP different.
