Unhappy Fedora add package failure

Whenever I try to add new packages from fedora and the cds, right when its about to install, it quits with an error. I installed with these cds and as far as I know (I did the media check) they work fine. I even tried it as root to see if it would be different, but I still had the same problem. Thanks

We can't see the errors unless you post them and we are terrible at mind reading.

Error

The error message is pretty general :
Code:
Error installing pacakges
There was an error installing packages

      Exiting
The above is in a dialog box. This is on fedora core 1 and I don't know why its doing this. Thanks

Run it from an x terminal, then you can see the full error messages.

Read the sticky trouble-shooting guide. It has the link to download the latest redhat-config-packages. The original has problem recognizing the Fedora directory inside the CD.
