I'm using fc8 with livna; I ran:

yum install preupgrade
preupgrade
When I rebooted anaconda goes into gfx mode and the monitor reports 'out of range'.
I tried this:

yum erase kmod-nvidia.x86_64
But I got the same thing... :(
