Fedora 6 installation problem

Hi;
I try to install fedora 6.
My problem is that at the time anaconda searches
for previous fedora installations it hangs.
With alt+ctr+F1 I see the message: installation exited abnormally [1-1]

For your information:
/dev/sda1 NTFS
/dev/sda3 vfat
/dev/sda3 reiserfs (I want to install here)
/dev/sdb1 swap
/dev/sdb2 reiserfs

I mention the partitions table because somewhere I read that it could be
a partition problem.

Are you sure of this partition table (hopefully this is a typo);

/dev/sda3 vfat
/dev/sda3 reiserfs (I want to install here)

If true then something is wrong!!

Since this is still a release candidate you should check the FC development lists for for possible help and workarounds. It may be a good idea report the problem there also.

I have the same problem and I am still trying to figure out what the problem is. I am not sure if its related to partitions because FC5 installs fine on this machine.
