I'm having issues with pdsh and Fedora 23, it seems to get stuck or won't run.
When I do a ps -ef | grep ssh I see:
Code:
root 1074 1 0 08:21 ? 00:00:00 /usr/sbin/sshd -D
root 3096 1074 0 08:33 ? 00:00:00 sshd: blink [priv]
blink 3100 3096 0 08:33 ? 00:00:00 sshd: blink@pts/6
root 3278 1074 0 08:33 ? 00:00:00 sshd: blink [priv]
blink 3281 3278 0 08:33 ? 00:00:00 sshd: blink@pts/7
blink 3491 3139 0 08:36 pts/6 00:00:00 pdsh -w ^/etc/pdsh_hosts -R ssh cat /etc/passwd

blink 3528 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3529 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3530 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3531 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3532 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3533 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3534 3491 0 08:36 ? 00:00:00 [ssh] <defunct>
blink 3555 3319 0 08:37 pts/7 00:00:00 grep --color=auto ssh
[blink@fluid ~]$
Any ideas on what's wrong, it doesn't seem to matter if I compile from source or use the pdsh from the Fedora repo. I don't see any issues with memory, CPU is about 99% idle. I can cancel the command and hit the up arrow and rerun and sometimes it will go the second or third time (or 4th or 5th or maybe tomorrow). I know they have done something with SSH in 23 I tweaked my .ssh/config so it has this:
Code:
[blink@fluid ~]$ cat .ssh/config
ServerAliveInterval 20
StrictHostKeyChecking no
PubkeyAcceptedKeyTypes ssh-dss
[blink@fluid ~]$
Any ideas or suggestions?
Thanks
