Fedora 17: booting error after compiling a kernel
After compiling the linux 3.4 kernel, the Fedora 17 cannot boot.
It said something like this: /dev...does not exist dropping to debug shell ... /lib/dracut-lib.sh:line 802:/dev/tty1:does not exist ... There should be nothing wrong with this compiling, but it just doesn't work with Fedora 17. can anyone help? thanks in advance |

and use 'make localyesconfig'(this time, it uses config-3.3.7 by default). though still some problems, it boot to the maintain-mode at last. something must be lost in my own configure file. I should be more careful... thank you again... |
The official Fedora 3.4 kernel for F17 is building now, and will be ready in a few hours.
