Fedora 13 iso images always altered or corrupted?

ok, so im pretty mad right now, i've tried to download the iso image of fedora 13 twice today and just to get the same error on both, it says the file is corrupted or it has been altered, the checksum isn't correct, so is it a problem with fedora or what? i downloaded both from their website. what can i do? i don't want to try just to get the same result :( :( :(

i finally got the iso ok, the solution? downloaded it on window$.....
how embarrassing is that? :( :( sorry.

More likely to be your connection, is the file size smaller than it should be ?

michaelinux,
I downloaded Fedora 13 using Transmission but never tried the live boot until I read your post. Everything works just fine except that I don't like the default tool bars both top and bottom. I have a wide screen laptop that is vertically challenged and need all the space I can get.
I would suggest that you try using the torrent of your choice and give that a try. I never tried downloading from their site as torrent is so much faster. If that still doesn't work for you I could mail you a DVD.
Good luck and I hope this works for you.

how are you downloading it ? direct DL or the recommended .torrent file
http://fedoraproject.org/en/get-fedora-all
http://nas1.itc.virginia.edu/fedora/...dora/i386/iso/
all 5 cd's
-- or the "live" cd--
Fedora-13-i686-Live.iso

how are you burning the iso ?
what program are you using ? and what speed ?
is it on a linux OS or a Windows OS ?

fedora iso's are notorious for failing the first boot "check disk" in the installer
BUT almost always pass the chksum

What are you using to do the checksum? From memory Fedora isos use sha256sum .

If ISO is OK, then you might be burning too fast. I always burn bootable stuff with 10x CD or 4x DVD, never faster. Faster you burn, the shallower is burned and can cause similar problems.
