Fedora 12 Freezes
 

I just installed fedora 12 on a new machine. I runs fine for awhile but then everything completely freezes and I have to hard reset.
I have looked around the web and can't seem to find an answer. I would appreciate any help.

Freezes are, unfortunately, common problems. Some possible causes:

- Undersized power supply
- Bad power supply
- Erratic incoming power
- Bad RAM
- Improperly seated CPU heat-sink
- Bad fans causing overheating
- Blocked airflow causing overheating
- Bad hard drive controller (failed ECC logic)
- Corrupted software

Take a look at your situation, pick the most obvious issues, correct them. If this is a really new PC, return it for replacement (it's the easier way to deal with it).
