Post Fcore4 - Acrobat Reader 7.0


Hey I wanted to find if anyone found out how to get Acrobat Reader 7.0 to run on Fedora 4?

I get the following error message when tried to intall it >>>

error: Failed dependencies:
libstdc++.so.5 is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.0-2.i386
libstdc++.so.5(CXXABI_1.2) is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.0-2.i386
libstdc++.so.5(GLIBCPP_3.2) is needed by AdobeReader_enu-7.0.0-2.i386

have you tried installing the libstdc++ package via yum

yum install libstdc++

gentoo

i am having the same problem. every time i try to emerge firefox, smb4k, etc. what can i do? i am using gentoo.

King goof, given that you are a Gentoo user perhaps posting in the Gentoo forum will yield more applicable answers.
