FC7: turn off device-mapper for installation

I have two SATA drivers configured independently (no raid) on a Promise PDC20378.

I specify nodmraid to the fc7 boot prompt, but the installer keeps recognizing my drivers as a /dev/mapper/pdcnonsense, instead of showing up as /dev/sda and /dev/sdb.

Is there another (functional) argument I can pass to vmlinuz when booting the installer?
