FC7 running squid goes down for a minute or so at 9AM every morning

Hello,

We have had a FC7 proxy server that for the last several months, every morning at 9AM, seems to stop access to the internet for about 1 minute... then resumes and works fine until the next day. Squid and all other system processes have uptimes of many days so they arent restarting. I really don't know where to begin to try and figure out the issue.

I dont believe it's the load because 1) There arent that many users in this building and 2) it happens like clockwork. 9:02 or so, everyday, and it comes back and then works fine until the next day.

This may be a wild qn, but do you have a static IP from your ISP?

Actually I just realized today that I have two separate buildings doing this. One does have a static ip from our isp, one does not. Interestingly enough both of them are running FC7... the only 2 servers we have running that version. And both seem to be doing this at 9:02ish everyday.

That's very odd, but seems to indicate its worth looking at the cron jobs on those boxes.
