Transaction Check Error: file /etc/dbus-1/session.conf from install of dbus-1.0.1-9.fc6 conflicts with file from package dbus-1.0.1-8.fc6
file /etc/rc.d/init.d/messagebus from install of dbus-1.0.1-9.fc6 conflicts with file from package dbus-1.0.1-8.fc6[/CODE]

You have to remove dbus and install it again but care that both package (i386 and x86_64) must be installed.
OK. Heard about a product called SMART that will fix this problem. I just got over my cursor issue and if I get past the frysk thing I should be done getting FC 6 x64 complete. SMART is a product that supposedly fixes some of the short comings of YUM.
I've never used it but on a post I read a couple of days ago it was reported that yum has a dependency confusion problem between the 32 bit and 64 bit versions of fedora with frysk. I'll get back soon when I find out exactly what this animal SMART is!
Just to note that I get rid of that install problem which I already mentioned in this thread. I just have to remove X11-dbus and then I have make install with yum. Yum update didn'y work and I am curious to know why.
There still a bug to install kdeedu.i386 package for 64-bit fedora ( in some systems like mine ). I think it will get fixed when python packages get updated.
I was troubleshooting similar problems with Phil in the thread link below, it may help you, may not, but worth a look. It is long only because he posted as much info as possible, but we did discover things that might be useful. Check it out.
