Hi folks,
I have been having a few problems with my fc6 installation lately.
Today I updated the kernel to see if that would fix the problem, but it didn't.
Basically, I have an AMD x86_64 processor, but the kernel installed is an i386 version, and I can't seem to get an i686 one installed.
I have tried using yum-extender, but this doesn't give me the option of installing a different kernel architecture. I need the i686 kernel to be able to get ndiswrapper and the nvidia drivers working. I also need it to get the cpu scaling working on my computer. Please help me!

First it please show/check:

rpm -qa --qf="%{n}-%{v}-%{r}.%{arch}\n" 'kernel*' | sort

Second:

rpm -ivh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrp....fc.noarch.rpm

yum install dkms-ndiswrapper nvidia-x11-drv
