Angry FC6 desktop effects cause screen frozen

Dear All,
I installed FC6 on my loptop(IBM T43, ATI Radeon M200), the desktop effects feature works. But will cause screen frozen, in this status, you can do nothing, although mouse cursor still can be moved. Then all you have to do just to reset/power-down system.
Did anyone meet this issue as well? Could you please give me some ideas, averybody? Thanks a lot!!

It might not be the whole OS, but just X.

When it freezes, try pressing CTRL-ALT-Backspace. That should shutdown the X server and either take you to a virtual terminal login prompt, or restart X.

Also, try CTRL-ALT-F2 (or -F1 or -F3) to try get to a virtual terminal (text mode) and log in. On a healthy system, you can press CTRL-ALT-F7 (or maybe -F8) to get back to X.

Also, look in /var/log/Xorg.0.log for error messages.
