FC6 Add/Remove Software does not work

hi,
I have installed FC6 at my work place. During installation i just installed the default packages(Everything), but did not go for the custom installation.

Now my system is up and running, but i wanted to install some of the softwares that were not installed for the CD's. When i click on Add/Remove Software. I get the following error message
Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: core

What do i do now, is there a way out.

Please help me out

Sadly you need to be connected to the internet for it to work, thats the way it was. Either reinstall totally everything or manual install required packages from the cd/dvd using
#rpm -ivh package_name

I just went through the links provided by you, one of them suggested me to create a backup copy of all the CD's and edit the yum repo config file to point to it, i tried it but did not work.

In your pervious reply you have also said that internet connetion is a must, but i must mention here that i am connected to the net and able to browse to the fedora urls
