Try;

download install; http://zod.freshrpms.net/rpm.html?id=118

As root from the console or xterm session type something like;
Code:
rpm -Uvh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/6/freshrpms-release/freshrpms-release-1.1-1.fc.noarch.rpm
When done as root type from the console or xterm session;
yum -y install nvidia-x11-drv

.

U didnt quite got what i've ment.
im installing fresh fc6 onto my new hdd so dont think that i'll be able to get acces to console. besides package U'r linking to is from 2005 so it should be included in fc6 release.

thx for trying anyway

The freshrpms-release-1.1-1.fc.src.rpm works for FC4/5/6 who cares about the date the yum repo is configured in such a way to resolve which version you have installed.

And yes I do understand what you meant, just do a text mode install (read the menu screen). The command I provided works just fine from the console (DOS prompt or command line in Microsoft terms) after your done with the installation process.
