Hello

I have recently installed FC5 on my machine which uses a ATI AIW Radeon 7500.

I would like to use this machine as a media center and I can't get the TV out to work properly.

After many hours of playing around, and installing atitvout (dont know if it was needed at all), I have it partially working.

Heres there propblem:

Initially, tv out worked only in text mode and not with the graphical gui. As soon as the gui loaded, the screen when out of sync and the images were irrecignizable. Now, if i boot the machine with only the tv connected, it works 100%. If i then (after boot) connect the monitor, it doesnt turn on (as if the monitor out on the card has been turned off). If i boot the machine with the monitor connected (with or without the tv), the tv out will not work once the machine has loaded the gui.

I would like to be able to all connect a monitor for the times when i need to do maintenance or upgrades as trying to read text on my big screen is terribly hard on the eyes.
