You were lucky with the pokerchip, I've had trouble getting the spare existing icons to match.
As to the quotes, that'll just have to remain one of those mysteries, unless someone else can sort it out.
I had a play around today, removed the gaps in the path as you've done, and the command started my program fine without any quotes. Guess an extra set of quotes aren't going to cause any trouble, so when in doubt put them in.
