FC5 DvD Install Boots Grub Command Line

I have tried several variants on the install, but in every instance I reboot to a grub command line, and I am clueless. I can't do anything with grub.conf, because I never get Fedora to load. I have chosen the defaults, added a boot option for the boot sector of the drive, and no luck. Any suggestions to get the boot loader to go would be great. thanks.
