FC4 kernel panic on install

I know this topic has been talked about before but I have treid the other solutions
acpi=off noprobe and noapic, turning off acpi in the BIOS
linux mediacheck pci=nosort text

Can't seem to get it to work

The error is
Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
panic
do exit
die
do invalid
etc...
and stops at
kenel_thread_helper+0x5/0x14

Here is the harwdware specs
Asus P5GD1
2 gig of kingston dual channel ram
Asus AX 550 video card
2 10k sata hard drives on raid 0

I tried the media on another pc and it installed fine.

Any ideas?

lmao ok this is whacked. so I stumbled across a thread that said to type in some random jibberish and hit enter, and then just hit enter again at the install prompt and it worked. Hmmmm problem solved
