FC4 Final Release up!

Ok heres the scoop.

FC4 final was supposed to be out this monday the June 6th but got delayed to the 13th for legal purposes (they had to make sure they had license for codename, lmao). Today on the 9th and 10th they started uploading 4 to many of the mirrors here http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

However, most of them are blocked out due to 550 error,,,,, ive been trying to find a mirror that worked for past 10 hours.... anyone know of any mirrors yet that have the ISOs uploaded and are offering them early? THanks

Most mirrors will be locked until the release date. You may be lucky to find an unlocked one, but this will be just by chance and if they discover that you are downloading an unreleased distro, they may lock that as well.

What bugs have you encountered? Was it a clean install or an upgrade?

Hi,
It was a clean install.
Most of the configuration programmes do not work they crash when opening them.
And launching them form a terminal causes errors that cause the terminal to crash.

Don't they match? I am downloading the dvd iso and would be really annoyed if it was corrupt.

Sorry for my fault!

sha1sum is OK for the checksum to verify the iso files.

Well the mirror suddenly slowed down after about 5%, I will just wait for the official dvd torrent. I am working all night, so I can leave my system downloading and the iso will be ready by the time I return home in the morning.

Quite a few of the Eurpoean mirrors are now unlocked, so you can download before they get busy after the official release announcement. I have noticed though that some of the mirrors don't yet have the dvd iso.
