FC4 .config
 

Hi

I need to modify something in the .config file and maybe recompile my kernel but I don't have a .config file in my kernel source.

http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/lfs/faq.html#no-ptys
says that if I don't have a .config file, then I am running in a pre-compiled kernel..

Help please. I need that .config file

No need to worry :-)

The config file will be picked up auto-magically from the config file found in the /boot directory (the config-version number file[s]) if not then just run 'make oldconfig' before you use 'make menuconfig', it should get you at least 95% of configured.
