I used FC3 for a while and Liked it. When I got my new computer I tryed SuSE. I looks alot more up to date. YaST is a nice tool. I've been having some problems lately and I like the way FC3 works a little better eventhough it is more primitive. SuSE look as though It is competing with windows. I'm sure that is the way Novell wants it.
How are the package installers in FC4. I really liked yum in FC3.
Yes Yum is still the updater for FC4; and there is the Yum Extender (yumex) GUI for it. Everything is pretty up-to-date. The Extras repository is enabled by default in FC4 (which is nice), and more packages are added to it all the time.
Just my 2 cents.. I used apt for a long time with fedora and then decided to learn yum. Once I got use to I find it just a easy as apt OR synaptic.. Haven't tried the gui for yum yet, but I'm sure I will in the future
