Question FC3 missing kernel source???

Perhaps I'm looking at/for the wrong thing, but I can't find the 2.6.9 kernel sources for FC3 anywhere. In all past releases (RedHat and FC) there's been a kernel-souce-*.rpm package correlating to the main kernel package. However, I've searched my DVD, http://download.fedora.redhat.com, and the repositories at FreshRPMs and RPMFind. I cannot find the package. I've looked for kernel*, kernel-source*, *source*, *linux* (this last one cause I recall Suse calling it linux). When I cd into my /usr/src, all I see is "redhat"... not kernel number... no linux symlink to a kernel number. I want to install some packages that build against the kernel source. Other than going to kernel.org and doing it myself, anyone know where the stock FC3 kernel sources are?

I haven't found one on the installation CD's or ftp mirrors. I read somewhere that you can download the kernel source rpm and install that.

i too am searching for the 2.6.9-1.667 kernel source.

i am trying to setup my d-link 520+ , and when I had fc2 i followed the instructions from www.houseofcraig.net the steps require kernel source installed. in fc2 (or rather for the 2.6.8-1.521 kernel) i found it using synaptic. now i installed synaptic in fc3 but the source is not listed.

by the way i am writing this so that if anyone out there is searching perhaps it will trigger better results?

anyway, thanks in advance if anyone knows where to get the kernel source.

also, i am pretty new...does it do any good to download the srpms from fedora.redhat.com (does the s stand for source? )

btw if anyone knows a different way to get a dlink 520+ wireless nic to work please email me.

THANKS!

The release note for FC3 (http://fedora.redhat.com/docs/release-notes/fc3/x86/) has plenty of information about this.

There is not a separate kernel-source package any more, but you can install the source RPM, e.g.:
up2date --get-source kernel

That last comment kinda didn't help me, because the point of getting the kernel source is to install a network driver (for now, Winblows). However, the source rpm can be found on pretty much any download site. You may have to move up a few directories to find the SRPM directory.
