FC3: Dual boot Windows XP?
Hey,
I just wanna ask, I'm gonna dual boot FC3 and Windows XP. Will it alter my disk geometry like what FC2 did? I know there's a workaround for it, but i want no trouble of any sorts. Thanks. |
May be it exists!
Here is one: http://www.fedoraforum.org/forum/showthread.php?t=27100 And rest of http://www.google.co.in/search?hl=en...+problem&meta= |
Okay, thanks nixcraft ;)

It seems to be fixed, yesterday installed dual boot FC3 and Win XP home works just fine while FC2 was giving errors
|
Maybe it's because you've already "fixed" the disk geometry previously while installing FC2?
|
No i didn't, I did format my hard drive, install Win XP then allocate free space with partition magic, install Fedora Core 3, and everything looks just fine cause when I had FC2 Partiton Magic has been giving errors and would not even start, now works just fine. And it was reported as if it was fixed so i really believe now its alright.
