fc3: abnormal volume adjustment
Hello?
I'm using FC3 on AsRock P4AL-800. Freshly installed and just updated. However, the up2date wasn't smoothly completed. All downloads and install were finished but the last stage was hung without the proper click on the finish button. Never got to the finish button after the up2date. Now, the volume adjustment is misbehaving; i.e. this could be either set to the maximum or off but nothing in between. Also, I'm gettinng lots of errors during the boot in relation to the "selinux". So, I applied "make -C /etc/selinux/targeted/src/policy clean/load" but doesn't help. This is the second time all around on this board with ALi chipset. I do not have any issue like this on another board with a different chipset. Does anyone have any idea? If I need to undo and redo the update, how can I safely undo the update at this point? Thanks. |
I thank it mite be a good idea to run yum
just log in as root and type "yum --update" that way you can be sure that everything was updated maby it's me but i dont have this file "/etc/selinux/targeted/src/policy clean/load" i also dont have any sound issues ?????????? |
