fc26 -> fc29: launcher complaints it can't fine "libkdeinit5_<app name>"

Hello!

I recently installed fc29 after previously using fc26.

I have a scanning program "vuescan" which is started by a launcher (which is now
called "link to application").

I currently can't start it using the launcher as it complains:

Code:
KDEInit could not launch 'vuescan':
Could not open library 'libkdeinit5_vuescan'.
Cannot load library libkdeinit5_vuescan: (libkdeinit5_vuescan: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)
If I start "vuescan" from the command line it starts OK.

I looked in the files list of the full backup I did before replacing the OS (when "vuescan"
could be launched) and there were some files with names like "libkdeinit5_<app name>".so but none
of them was "libkdeinit5_vuescan":

Code:
<root localhost>.../log>grep libkdeinit5 full_2018_02_05_1757
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kfmclient.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kwin_rules_dialog.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_ksysguard.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_klipper.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kcminit.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kmenuedit.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_konsole.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kaccess.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_karbon.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kcalc.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_calligrasheets.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_konqueror.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kuiserver5.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_khelpcenter.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kcmshell5.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kwin_x11.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_ksmserver.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_dolphin.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_calligraplan.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_klauncher.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kcminit_startup.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_kded5.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_calligrawords.so
/usr/lib64/libkdeinit5_calligraplanwork.so
Any ideas what can be the cause of it?

TIA,
kaza.

Solved!

Or, rather, found a workaround of what looks like a bug in Dolphin:

Originally, the "Application -> Command" entry consisted only
of the program name "vuescan". That worked in the past as the "vuescan"
is in executables path. However, it seems that new Dolphin in fc29+KDE
somehow can't find the program just by the name. After replacing
the "name only" with the full path, I can start "vuescan" using the launcher.

Also had to manually edit the "vuescan.desktop" file to add the icon instead of
the empty space: an attempt to do it "properly" through "RMB -> Properties ->
click icon -> select icon" resulted in "You don't have sufficient permission
to save vuescan.desktop" despite nothing being wrong with permissions of that file
as I could edit it externally.

OK, that problem is done, now to others.
