FC2 Question/Hardware Compatibility

A while ago, I had Red Hat 9 on my system along with windows xp. It worked perfectly, and dual booted with grub just fine. However, then I re installed windows xp, and accidentally deleted the Red Hat partition. Now, I wanted to install Fedora Core 2 on my system, but I have 3 issues:

First of all, I want to know if Fedora Core 2 supports the Linksys WMP54G (Wireless G PCI adapter). I know that Red Hat 9 didn't, so I had to hook it up directly.

Second of all, I want to know if FC2 will support my sound (It's a Realtek AC'97 Codec - Went to the realtek website, and they have a Linux driver, but will it work with the ALSA, which I think is installed by Fedora Core 1 and later?

Third of all, I heard that FC2 is known to mess up the partition table making windows xp unbootable. Should I install Red Hat linux first, and then upgrade to FC2? Has anyone had any success doing that?

Thanks in advance (I'm kind of a Linux :newbie:, so sorry :D)

yes, the fc2 detects AC97 codecs (here in my home works)

no, the fc2 dont fuck with your pati. table, its secure install with other operating systems...

I heard that it was supposed to work with the linuxant driverloader. Has anyone had any success with that?
