FC2 only sound on one speaker w/ Terratec card

I just installed the new Fedora Core 2 Linux with the 2.6 Kernel that brings along the Alsa drivers. I used to run Alsa on Fedora Core 1 Linux with my Terratec SixPack 5.1+ soundcard with a Cirrus Logic CS4297A rev4/CS4294 rev5 chip (at least that's what fedora tells me). It worked fine. Now, with new installation of Fedora 2, I get initial sound support even for the IEC958 Output but just on one channel. So the music only comes out of one speaker (also, when I use the analog output.).

Does anyone have an idea what I can do to fix that problem? Would updating the kernel help? i use kernel version 2.6.5-1.358. I would be very grateful for advice!!!
