fc2 and shutdown

hi!

this is weird....under my 'hat'/main menu and actions i don't have an option to shutdown. i do have logout...but there's not a shutdown option associated with that dialog either. has anyone seen this before? - d

it could be you're running something else rather than kdm. on my slackware system, i edit the file /etc/rc.d/rc.4 to bring the kdm section before others like gdm and xdm. you'll just have to find out how to do that on your fedora system.

maybe i didn't say it clearly enough.... the system shuts down just fine from the command line. thru the kde gui however, i don't have the option. - d
