FC16 Kernel 3.3.1 - udevd timeouts

During boot I'm seeing loads of udevd timeout messages. For example:

Code:
udevd[546]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modprobe microcode' [662]
The message is repeated over and over, so I guess it isn't killing whatever that microcode thing is... anyway, it never completes the booting.

If anyone knows what the problem is...

Microcode is a kind of abstraction of the processors own instruction set.
This kind of software is used to make higher level programming a bit easier.
(higher level in this context does mean assembler, not any of the higher level programming language like C )

The microcode must fit exactly to the processor itself.

If it can't load it is just the wrong one.

Get the proper one, or blacklist the module.
