FC1 Install trouble

Is it really true that I need 256 Megs of RAM to run X? I'm trying to install on a Pentium 233 with 64Megs and it keeps hanging during the setup. Usually on disc 2. Could the memory be the problem?

I guess the days of i386 are over.

Most probably bad media or the speed you burn your CD, had problem during installation, the installation couldn't read/find some packages from CD2 and CD3. Reburned the CDRW at 4x and finally succesfully installed the FC1. YMMV, this come from my own experience and I had seen others who're having difficulties installing FC1 due to this. No idea why really ..

Do ctl-alt-f4 (if I'm not mistaken .. or f3) which will has the log shown up .. may be you can see what the real problem there. ctl-alt-f7 will bring back to the gui installer.
