FC 5 Crashes on Hardware Probe, or on Firstboot

I've just spent the evening repartitioning my hard drives and installing FC5. After instalation, it gets to running FC5 and crashes on hardware probe. By using the interactive setup and not running that part (kudzu), it gets to loading the first time run program then freezes again. I have no idea how to fix this at all, and would need a pretty much step by step guide. This post here:
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...obing+hardware
has a similar problem, however there is no guide to the solution included (it suggests that some part of my hardware isn't supported and that i need to edit the kernel, though i have no idea what piece of hardware isn't supported and no idea how to fix it). My hardware is as follows:

Motherboard: MSI K7N2 Delta-ILSR Nforce 2 Ultra 400 chipset
Graphics: ATI Radeon x850 pro (Unlocked to x850 XT)
Ram: 2x512mb Samsung M3, 3-3-3-8
HDD1: Seagate Barracuda 7200rpm 250GB SATA
HDD2: Maxtor 60GB IDE
Soundcard: Nvidia Soundstorm onboard sound
NEC PCI to USB2 expansion card
Logitech MX 500 Optical USB Mouse
Microsoft Internet Keyboard
Creative P580 5.1 surround sound
USB Game Controller from Game
Samsung SyncMaster 957p 19" CRT (using VGA port on my x850)

If anyone knows if any of these devices are not correctly supported on FC5 then please let me know, or if anyone knows of a fix for this problem at all. The help will be much appreciated. Also is there any way to specifically track which part of the hardware probe makes the machine crash? Thanks.

Disable the kudzu service, as root type; /sbin/chkconfig --level 345 kudzu off

For the hardware devices visit the HCL in this forum for advice. The service kudzu is known to be a problem in many cases, the two sound interfaces and ATI radeon graphics interface are know to be problems with this service BTW
