Regarding ADSL connection
Dear Simon,
I am sorry, I should have given more info in my early post. Actually, I am a newbie with the system so missing here and there perhaps. As to your question, no, it is not USB but ethernet card connected to adsl quidpro wireless router supplied by my ISP for broadband connection. However I am not using any wireless but it is firmly connected with my realtek netcard. Yes I unchecked the box which says that the connection should start at the time of booting up. I am at my office and using a winbox, so I am unable to give you the exact wording. However, I would like to inform you that I have updated my FC-2 to FC-3 by first yum upgrade yum and subsequently yum upgrade. It downloaded 196 files. The upgrade is fine. I heard there is some complain about new terminals not being opened due to udev problem but I have no such problem as such. Only point is to comment the lines of [dag] and [dries]. Only core, update and extra are fine. The dag and dries gave me lot of problem at my first go with the upgrade process and subsequently after commenting them, it was a smooth journey. Hope this will help my linux friends spread over the net.
Regards
