Is it 64bit one or the normal one.?

Does it mean that a 64 version is abnormal? My 64-bit system hasn't displayed any weird behaviour recently
(sorry couldn't resist
If you have less than 4Gb RAM I wouldn't bother installing a 64bit version (and if you're not going to use your system
for some superintensive calculations) - a 32-bit version can only recognise 3.4GB. However, with x86_64 there might be some problems
with some programs which don't have 64bit versions (there aren't many of them).
I still keep most of my systems 32bit because of Lightzone photo editing software which I can't get up and running under x86_64.
Generally, the safest bet would probably be 32bit at the moment (or you can install both and compare the performance etc.)
