Exec Format error on chroot

I have vanilla Fedora 17 Electronic Spin here, and slackware-14.0. I recently tried to chroot to my slackware partition and it returned "Exec Format Error", presumably the /bin/bash in /slack.

Is this a security thing and how do I adjust it if so?
Does anybody know of another reason why this won't sing?

as a first tip I would say it is a 32/64 bit mismatch

Exactly, I would assume that you have a 32 bit Fedora and a 64 bit Slackware installation.

Sorry for the fuss. You're right. 32/64 mismatch. The Electronic Lab is 32 bit.
If I have a spare partition I'll stick in a small LFS or something, just for rescue purposes.
