There is a good possibilty that your cdrom is having problems reading the dvd/cd's
I have had that problem also.
when it say's corrupt file or whatever, keep clicking on the 'Ok' and see if it won't force read the file.
If you burnt the cd/dvd on a different drive than the one your trying to install from , it is a bad or dirty
cdrom/dvd drive.
If your using a old 40 speed drive, they will give you problems.
Can you get your hands on a newer drive and try using that?

Jim

That PC looks fine, it's top spec anyways... Only thing I don't like is the ATI graphics. I would never install an ATI card with Linux. Nvidia's Linux support is the best!

Old?

But... yum. That PC you are looking at seems very good indeed! I've used Dells for 4 years, and found their Linux compatability a little shaky. I've had a HP for 3 years and its worked very well with all Linuxes I've thrown at it.

Are you too stupid to go follow bugzilla?

Saying that Fedora Core 4 sucks pretty much explains your mentality, perhaps you can roll out a better distro right?
