Error message using yum update

I've been trying to update my system all day and I keep getting this message from yum:

Gathering header information file(s) from server(s)
Server: Fedora Core 1 - i386 - Base
Damaged or Bad header.info from Fedora Core 1 - i386 - Base
This is probably because of a downed server or an invalid header.info on a repository.

and I typed in updatedb before I ran yum. My yum.conf file looks like this:

[main]
cachedir=/var/cache/yum
debuglevel=2
logfile=/var/log/yum.log
pkgpolicy=newest
distroverpkg=fedora-release
tolerant=1
exactarch=1
retries=20

[base]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Base
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/$releasever/$basearch/os/

[updates-released]
name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Released Updates
baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/$releasever/$basearch/

#[updates-testing]
#name=Fedora Core $releasever - $basearch - Unreleased Updates
#baseurl=http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/updates/testing/$releasever/$basearch/

I'm not sure if this is a problem on my end or not. Is anyone else having these issues?

i hade this problem about a week ago in the morning and that night it was fixed
i guess one of the update servers went down

Tried again this morning and still no luck. Could my router be causing the problem?

This is the primary download server for fedora. You really want to pick a mirror that is closer to your location. Everyone is using the primary and it's very slow and you'll get junk like this all the time.

---- Could you tell where I can find the available mirrors? what file should I change to pick up the mirror?

Thanks!

Mirrors aplenty...

http://fedora.redhat.com/download/mirrors.html

The file you want to modify is /etc/yum.conf. See also... man yum.conf
