? I can press anykey to login, but I can't login my system include root.
Does it hang there also if you try to start into another runlevel?
What does that mean I can press anykey to login? Do start normaly in runlevel 5 with graphical login?
Have you checked if it's possible a filesystem problem?

Thank you, odcheck!

I think that I must descript the question detailly.

When the screen slow "Init: cannot execute "cd"" and I press any key, the system responsed:

(none) login:

And I can't login the system even use root. The system always response "authorization fault" .I can't start in any runlevel.

It's my question.

Thank you!!

1st of All try to backup the files...
When you start your system a boot loader will you up or?
And at this point you can give if its grub the information in the command line (a)
"init 3" or whatever runlevel you want to start.
....
or I would recommend to boot with your install cd and go into rescue mode.
Mount /mnt/sysimage and perform a fsck on your partitions.
- you won't have any login problems there ;-)
